Ministry In Motion is here to provide parents the support they need during this pandemic of Covid-19. We see each child as unique, which is why all of our services can be completely personalized to fit specific needs and preferences. After School Program
Monday - Friday from 2:30pm- 6pm Students will be assisted with completing homework, school assignments and projects. Arts & Crafts, games, scrapbooking and jewelry making is available daily. Snacks and Dinner is also provided daily.
Art Therapy
For ages 6 - 12 years old: This is Positive Psychology Art Coaching. We use a series of art activities that are used to help build confidence and self-Esteem in children. We currently run 15 positive psychology art activities in 2 hour and 45 minute sessions, three days a week. The titles of the courses are listed below: Positive Affirmations, Letting Go Balloons, 3 Good Things, Zentangle, My Name is Powerful, Good Friend vs. Bad Friend, Sketching Outdoors, My Tree of Happiness, Emotions Color Wheel, The Power of My Words, Smell the Flowers, Recipe for Success, My Coping Tools Backpack, In my Control, and I'm a Superhero. All of our services, especially this one, exist to make our youths lives easier, stress free, encouraging and FUN! Activities available daily are: arts and crafts, jewelry making, stain glass/ pottery painting, dollhouse decorating, clay molding, hair styling, and scrapbooking. Life Science experiments will be conducted, as well as game and movie nights!
Therapeutic Art Life Coaching
For ages 12- 17 years old: Therapeutic Art Life Coaching promotes art as a healing intervention to work through life obstacles by using paintings, drawings, collages and occasionally group art projects. Sessions run two days a week for 2 hours.
Summer Camp!
Ministry In Motion’s summer camp (ages 6-12) will incorporate a variety of brain exercises such as Checkers, chess, sudoku, and crossword puzzles. A variety of physical exercises such as fitness, soccer, basketball, dodgeball, badminton, volleyball, kickball, tennis, archery, and swimming. We anticipate going on weekly field trips to a variety of places such as the Zoo, The Children's Museum, Miniature Golfing, Boston bowl, Monkey Joe's, Sportsmen's Tennis & Enrichment Center, The sports museum, Rock on Adventure, the beach and many other possible fun locations. * As some places are on a book only basis or following particular Covid-19 regulations, we may or may not make it to all the anticipated locations listed, however the children can expect to go on field trips weekly.*
Life Coaching
This is our 2nd most popular services available. Life Coaching is a gradual process where someone is guided to dig beneath the surface of their thoughts and beliefs and help them understand internal obstacles to their success and well-being. This service has made a big difference for many of our clients, and is provided with the highest level of excellence. We ensure all life coaching details and sessions are confidential, simple, seamless and handled in a timely manner. Meals & Snacks
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be provided during the summer camp. Dinner and snack will be provided during the after school program and on “Art Therapy” days. You can trust us to provide your children with healthy, wholesome home-cooked meals.
